The Islamic Society of Imperial College are back again this year with their exciting 8th annual Smoky not Smudgy (SnS) event, all in aid of Islamic Relief. SnS is a ladies-only, non-profit, charity event held annually at Imperial College London in South Kensington. This year’s SnS will be on the 25th October 2015 from 11am to 7pm. The event falls under the umbrella of events for Charity Week, aiming to raise money for orphans and needy children worldwide.
#TBT: Smoky Not Smugdy 2014
Last year SnS raised just under an incredible £13,000! SnS 2014 offered out Pakistani and Middle Eastern inspired fashion, accessories and lots more. In regards to the fashion shows, there were two on the day. Unfortunately I was only able to attend the afternoon session, however I was not disappointed as I spotted some intriguing pieces on the catwalk.
My personal favourite from the catwalk was Awya London. I am a lover for floral prints, and Awya nailed the colour palette and contemporary look of these outfits. The funky floral sunglasses really added that quirky look to all their outfits.
We look forward to seeing what Smoky not Smudgy 2015 has in store at their 8th annual event! It is great opportunity to pop down and get involved with their activities on the day.
