It’s My Bestie’s Mehndi! What Do I Wear?

It’s wedding season and I have a couple of wedding occasions coming up myself this year, but when it comes to researching on inspiration, everything is normally focused on the bridal fashion side of things. So thought I’d share a gorgeous look, if you have to attend a friend or best friend’s mehndi night.

Yellow, green and pink colours are normally associated with mehndis in terms of attire. But why not try something different? Multi-colours and oranges work well too and look quite refreshing for summer! Florals are also trending in Mehndi outfits, so why not pair both together? For the bestie’s mehndi look, we selected this gorgeous floral print lehenga from Palanquine by Sandhya Shah

The lehenga is super-light, which is important for a mehndi night as their maybe dancing involved! This particular lehenga has golden embroidery work on a the deep bright orange quilted high round-neck blouse.

The perfectly paired lehenga skirt is floral and I love all things floral and this definitely delivers on that! The design looks somewhat like paisley prints with multiple colours. It is a saint in terms of jewellery, as you can pick a colour from the skirt and match your jewellery to it! I went for green and gold bangles on both wrists with green chandbali style earrings.
