AnA by Anu Singh and Archana Bhushan, whose collections present a rich depiction of India’s stylistic diversity, from sarees and anarkali’s to churidar kurtas, featuring the distinctive crafts of chikan kari, gota patti, zardozi and ari.
London-based Hema Thakorlal, known for her subtle-toned, classic sarees to bright, floor-length gowns. Kamaali Couture, synonymous with bridal and cocktail collections featuring feminine drapes and bejeweled embroideries with a touch of western aesthetics. JMD ‘Design to Empower’, that showcases the art and craft of female artisans in India, who have learnt and practised traditional hand embroidery techniques for generations.
