Earlier this year bought together ladies from the south Asian community at Spring High Chai with Vimmi Dhillon at The Baluchi London. After a successful debut, Vimmi Dhillon Styles returns with a Gatsby Gala Night at Grosvenor House, JW Marriott Hotel on Park Lane in London. This is expected to be an extravagant evening, with a 3-course meal by Ragasaan, fashion show, live performances, guest speakers, raffle and after party.
We take this opportunity to throwback to Vimmi Dhillon Style’s debut show. An initiative that was put together to raise mental health awareness amongst the South Asian community in an engaging manner: a high chai experience, fashion, music by Navin Kundra, comedy from Salman Malik and inspirational talks from Meera Bhogal, Raageshwari and Nadia Patel. The event’s charity partner was Mind, the mental health charity who support people to create better mental health. We have to say the attendees and ourselves were left inspired!
The afternoon was hosted by Suzi Mann and designers on the catwalk included Amour Faith Hope, Vaai London, Twee in One by Niti Singhal and Nikaza Asian Couture. There was also an opportunity to shop at the event with the likes of Jack Harvey London who donated some a percentage of their profit to Breast Cancer charity, Aarsim, Hema Thakorlal, Kopper Cure, Jadau by Kanwal Toor and, Rubina Kapoor. Here were the catwalk highlights:
