I am a big supporter of being positive, happy and enthusiastic where possible, even through challenges we may face throughout life. Who better to advise then from the life-changer herself, Sidra Jafri. She recently launched her eagerly awaited book: The Awakening: 9 Principles For Finding The Courage To Change You Life. I find out what Sidra is all about, her advice on positivity and everyday stresses in my recent interview with her below.

What is Sidra Jafri all about?
Awakening! I am a researcher of human life and I love to explore people’s patterns that keeps them stuck and help them to wake up and ‘‘see” what’s really happening in their lives.
What type of challenges do you deal with?
People come to me from all walks of life with all sorts of challenges. I address everything from depression to finding your purpose in life.
Who inspires you the most?
Courageous people inspire me the most! People who smile at the face of challenges and stay with faith knowing that there is a reason behind every challenge.
What would be your advice for anyone dealing day-to-day stresses?
All of life is an experience and these stresses are a blessing in life. They keep us awake and build our character and strengthen us as human beings. Instead of trying to get rid of the stresses work on everything that causes you to react in stress. Once you become calmer and relaxed, you will begin to understand these experiences.
What would be your top tips for positivity?
Start your day in appreciation of life. Before you begin your day, spend a few minutes in thanking and appreciating all those things and people that you have. The more you are appreciative of the blessings you currently have, the more positive your day will be. What you appreciate, appreciates.
Congratulations on your new book release of The Awakening: 9 Principles For Finding The Courage To Change Your Life! How would you sum up your latest book?
That it is not just a book, it is an experience, a journey into yourself which, once you embrace and apply the tools and techniques shared in the book, you will start living a life that you truly desire.
What are your plans for the near future? Do you have any events coming up?
My plan is to share the message of The Awakening across the globe. I facilitate live events all around the world. The next Awakening is on the 5th of September. I also conduct “Healing Thursdays” webinar online each Thursday.
