Shalini Gupta-Patel founded the UK based premium jewellery brand, Red Dot Jewels who offer hand-crafted Indian inspired silver & semi precious jewellery. In Shalini’s words,“Our concept is to provide UK women with an alternative to fine jewellery without compromising on style and design whilst at an affordable price”. 

Red Dot Jewels launched only in 2011 and since then, has created vast milestones, including the unveiling of its’ Flagship Store in North West London’s Pinner Village earlier this month. The theme of the Red Dot Jewels Flagship Store is Indian inspired where all collections, either in-house or by guest designers, have been handmade in India. The studio interior has been designed by award-winning architect, interior and furniture designer, Bart Eyking, who has created a dual-purpose space that hosts both pret, ready to wear ranges and private, bridal appointments.

The space highlights Red Dot Jewels’ extensive bridal range as well as prêt collections over two distinct areas – minimal with a hint of Indian influence for the prêt showcase, while a statement bridal lounge allows for styling in an opulent but unintimidating and relaxed environment. The bridal lounge is an extension of what the brand has become synonymous with – sumptuous wedding jewellery. Red Dot Jewels has also introduced UK designers such as Pomegranate and Azuni to the store, to complement the in-house collections.

Shalini Gupta-Patel, said, “The flagship store has been a start to end labour of love and seeing it transform into this end result has been an emotional and truly fulfilling journey. The response from guests this evening has been tremendous and we now look forward to inviting our clients to experience and enjoy this space with us.”
