Braun India Fashion Week London Day 1 Highlights

The second edition of Braun India Fashion Week London (BIFWL) showcased international, local and NEWGEN designers, which strutted the catwalk at the ExCel Centre this month.

Bhumika & Jyoti opened BIFWL, renowned Indian designers who put environmental responsibility at the heart of their design ethos with their ‘zero’ waste concept. Their latest collection did not disappoint with a range of opulent gold and cream outfits including sophisticated lehenga dresses and contemporary capes!

BiBi London representing a number of Indian fashion designers, Bibi showcased a range of versatile pieces from the evergreen floral ensembles to contemporary ethnic prints, right down to pieces which suit the current autumn/winter vibes!

Newcomer Intri Printi by Pooja Solanki and Jayant Tripathi are post graduates from the National Institute of Fashion Technology based in New Delhi. They launched their first ever print centric collection of varied silhouette styles, with isometric shapes matched with embroidery and embellishments. Inti Printi brings a fresh look to the South Asian fashion game.

J’Adore Adorn is a fantastic concept of diamante embellished necklace headsets, a perfect combinations of where fashion meets tech. The collection is already being stocked by Selfridges and Harrods!

Abha Choudhary collection lived up to the gracious traditional bride look. These rich red ensembles were adorned with rich cultural handwork and embroidery.
