So here is the #CoffeeConquest’s first contender: The Table.
I had to visit The Table Cafe after seeing photos of their delectable food for brunch and coffee of course! The Table is a simple set out cafe; the hustle and bustle creates a buzzed atomsphere. The kitchen is open, where you can see the chefs rustling up meals. Their coffees are crafted using a barista coffee machine, where they grind their coffee beans there and then.
I selected a small cappuccino to accompany the vegetarian breakfast I decided to indulged in. Their vegetarian breakfast consisted of fried eggs, spinach, grilled tomatoes and mushroom, baked beans and halloumi cheese. It was not bad, but needed a vegetarian sausage and hash brown to truly live up to its’ name of a vegetarian breakfast.
The small cappuccino was pleasant and frothy with no dull aftertaste, but nothing beyond spectacular. The coffee was not bitter and was slightly sweet. I did like how the powdered chocolate does hit your mouth first, most cappuccinos I have had before do not conform to this. The coffee for roughly £3.00 did not feel like great value for money, as I drank mine in a couple of sips. I personally would not come here purely for a coffee catch up, but for brunch it is perfecto!

I would have a coffee from The Table again; it was a decent coffee, but does not dazzle.
