After 3 years since their launch, this week saw the online launch of S9 Muses and to celebrate hosted an evening for launch with a spectacular Global Traveller-themed evening at the Fable Bar and Restaurant, London. Their focus lies fashion curation and provide handpicked collections from new-age, trendsetting, luxury designers who advocate fresh ideas and empower women from every walk of life. S9 Muses started as a passion for fashion when two friends hailing from Kenya and now settled in London, had an idea to curate quirky and affordable luxury collections to offer to the UK. Designers on board are Vaishali S, Radio Rani, House of Wandering Silk, Debashri Samanta, Ka-Sha, Priya Chhabria and ILK.

S9 Muses ethos derives from sustainability and slow fashion, and whole-heartedly promotes the revival of the age-old garment and the timeless sari. Supporters of ethical fashion, they make sure that these values are shared with the designers they work with.

Founders of S9 Muses, Sita and Anjli Shah said, “Dressing up should always be about making you feel good, regardless of occasion. Build your wardrobe with timeless pieces; garments that have been passed down from generations above and can be passed on to future generations. Let their story unfold.” The ladies encourage, “Don’t be afraid of colour; don’t be afraid of prints; for experimentation is always more fun than plain ordinary.”
The evening saw a handful of the quirky attire and contemporary accessories on display. There were interactive opportunities to use your creativity to pull together your own looks, a lovely touch which we thoroughly enjoyed. Watch this space for S9 Muses!
